About Srishti

I started teaching to make students fall in love with Bharatanatyam just as my teachers helped me to.

I believe students learn moral and cultural values, and life skills, through the process of learning Bharatanatyam. To that end, I use a holistic curriculum that is a blend of physical rigor and emotive storytelling. I emphasize understanding and relating to mythological stories, and their cultural significance. I want to see every student enjoy coming to class, learn with joy, and integrate dance into the tapestry of their life.
